LUCIJA KOKOR

Born in Zagreb, Lucija Kukor started her dance journey at the age of 9 in the dance club "Megablast" (Velika Gorica). She soon enrolled in primary and then secondary dance school Franjo Lučić, Velika Gorica, participating in various national and international competitions during her studies. After graduating from the dance school, she was invited to “Komedija” Zagreb Theater to participate in the musicals “Aida” and “Cabaret” as a dancer and a singer. Soon after, she enrolled at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zagreb, obtaining her MA degree in Management in 2019.

In parallel with her work at “Komedija” Zagreb Theater,  she took part in various dance and choreography projects around the world  (“Muscat Asian beach games” in Oman; Dance theater “Jollanar” in Syria; tour “I will survive” by Gloria Gaynor and Ivo Gamulin Gianni; Croatia's EU accession ceremony;  “ Big heart to small heart“ humanitarian project in “Gavella”; “Black Swan“ CIE MESS (Antwerp, Belgium); “FeMale“ Kelkope (“Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb”); “Dance classes for the elderly and advanced“ Staša Zurovac... She has participated as well in various TV shows, commercials, concerts, and fashion events. In addition to dancing, she has a great passion for singing. She performed at the “Vip Club“ under the leadership of Lela Kaplowitz and at the Brass Jazz Festival (Velika Gorica).

She has also invested in her dance training and knowledge through various seminars and workshops both in Croatia and abroad (Maša Kolar, Studio for Contemporary Dance, Zagreb Dance Ensemble, Kelkope, Ana Samovojska, Hofesh Shechter Company, Brice Mousset, Thierry Smits, Almira Osmanović, Gregor Lustek, Clement Layes, Dinko Bogdanić, “Dance Journey program” with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance in Israel..).
