DREW BENJAMIN JACKSON

Drew Benjamin Jackson was born in Bristol, England on 24 October 1996. He started his professional training, at the age of 11 at Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham. When he was 16 he then started a three-year course at English National Ballet School in London. After graduating in 2016, he started his professional career at the National Ballet of Portugal in Lisbon. After one year he then moved to Zagreb where he has now been dancing in HNK. Since joining Croatian National Theatre Drew has danced in a number of ballets by Leo Mujič, Valentina Turcu, Maša Kolar, Jiří Bubeníček, Patrice Bart, Giorgio Madia, and Derek Deane. He’s recently danced soloist roles as the Prince in Nutcracker and the Joker in Swan Lake both choreographed by Vladimir Malakhov.

Drew leads the Barre á Terre, Discovering Ballet, and Modern Ballet programs, imparting his knowledge, skills, and artistry to nurture and bring joy to our students.
